I recently had dinner at China Gate...
located on JM road.. just besides Smokin' Joes, opposite Portico's Icecream..
Overall, i would say it was a good experience... excellent food... good ambience... best thing - not very crowded.. even on weekends...
What i had -
Mongolian Chicken - its a scrumptious dish with small and tender pieces of boneless chicken fried till light brown... with a dark chinese black pepper and soya sauce...
very spicy...dont try this if you cant take chilly... but really full of flavour... and taste...
Just too good... try it out with noodles and it can be a wonderful meal..
Rs. 80 (very good value)
Quantity - good enough for 2
Chicken Malasian Noodles - Nicely made Noodles with a little bit of sauce (can't figure out which one!!)... with nice big pieces of fried chicken.. and some vegetables.. a great combination with Mongolian Chicken.
Rs. 65 (excellent value)
Quantity - good enough for 2
And to top this all, have a double scoop of icecream at Portico's just opposite to it...
At Rs. 50 for a double scoop (good enough to last a full 30 minutes).. it proves a great topping for the evening... have a walk on JM with the scoop... go home and fall on couch thinking of the wonderful meal you had!!
